Hook awnings are a type of folding awning. Their support resembles the human elbow joint. The elbow joint is held in place by a hinge. Cassette awnings are completely closed when folded. All parts of the structure are well protected from the sun, wind, rain, hail, falling dry branches and vandalism. Enclosed awnings are the most expensive, but you have to pay for them. They retain their attractive appearance and performance characteristics for as long as possible. Cassette awnings are very popular on terraces and verandas of private houses and cottages.

If the wind force is too low, the awning will shrink. Additional options. To make using the awning more comfortable, elbow awnings are equipped with automatic engine control systems, remote controls, wind and light sensors. The popularity of different types of folding arm awnings among different buyers is unreal. There are no clear criteria for what items should be installed on awnings – it is a personal choice.
