How to relieve body fatigue?
this can serve as a consolation and, to some extent, motivation if we are talking about pleasant fatigue, brightened up by satisfaction from the service done.
In such situations, nothing special is necessary at all; in order to relieve fatigue, it is quite enough to relax, satisfy your hunger, and get some sleep. But if these simple methods do not help, there is a risk of overfatigue, which requires other, more effective methods of removing fatigue from the body. It is unacceptable to ignore the symptoms of severe fatigue.
Chronic fatigue syndrome is many times more widespread than is generally known. We do not spare ourselves, we rush to create as much as possible despite the strength of our body. The main mistake then is not to pay attention to signals that clearly indicate an excessive degree of fatigue. If you notice them in time, you can really quickly relieve the body’s fatigue and restore strength for previously unknown achievements. Otherwise, fatigue will accumulate every day, like a snowball, and restoring strength will require a large amount of time and special measures that are not limited to typical rest. We hope that you have not brought yourself to such exhaustion and will read this article right on time in order to relieve body fatigue and avoid overwork.
Fatigue and overwork of the body. Symptoms of constant fatigue
Fatigue itself is harmless and can even be useful – thanks to it, nature regulates the cycles of activity and rest, protecting us from loss of energy. When the body and psyche are tired, a person feels tired, but these states are not proportionate and identical all the time. There is fatigue without a feeling of tiredness and severe fatigue after seemingly easy work. All these mechanisms are sensitive to health conditions and are delicately balanced. Their violations and/or neglect of fatigue lead to overwork, and in the most difficult cases – to the development of constant fatigue syndrome.
Constant fatigue syndrome is another diagnosis found among residents of large populated areas. The enormous speed of life, work without days off and holidays, lousy environment, non-stop stress and overwork, dissatisfaction with the results, as well as a greater increase in the pace of life, brings about permanent overwork, which takes place on the mental and physical level:
Reduced performance. By the end of the working day, literally everyone without exception who has been working since the morning becomes less efficient. But after a night’s rest, the next morning the enthusiasm returns. If this does not happen and your strength fades every day, your performance decreases more and more, and your performance indicators noticeably deteriorate, there is reason to talk about accumulated fatigue.
Decreased concentration of attention. Inability to concentrate and absent-mindedness, forgetfulness, inattention, violation of not only logical thinking, but also coordination of movements. These are all typical signs of overwork, including chronic fatigue, if the symptoms do not go away after sleep or at least after the weekend.
Irritability is a typical manifestation of constant fatigue at the psycho-emotional level. Even absolutely innocent things evoke an emotional outburst that is out of proportion to the cause. As they say, “evil is not enough.” In reality, there is not enough strength.
Depression. A hostile reaction to external stimuli is a stronger manifestation, but as fatigue accumulates, it gives way to indifference and isolation. This is apathy, which is a stone’s throw from the current depression.
Sleep disorders. The standard 6-7 hours of sleep for a healthy adult does not restore strength. Not to mention the fact that: in the evening you can’t fall asleep, and early in the morning you can’t wake up even with an alarm clock. Insomnia, regardless of fatigue, is a sign of chronic fatigue.
Further – more. Systematic lack of sleep and emotional disturbances provoke weakness, dizziness, jumps in blood pressure, almost to hypertension. Headaches become more frequent and immunity decreases. Those who suffer from constant fatigue are more likely to go overboard and become victims of domestic injuries, accumulate excess weight or, conversely, lose weight unhealthily, and show signs of neurotic deviations and hysteria. These symptoms do not go away on their own; they need to be removed, and the sooner you do this, the better and less dangerous.
How to quickly relieve body fatigue and restore strength?
In order not to lead ordinary fatigue to overwork, learn a number of simple techniques that make it possible to relieve body fatigue quickly and, one might say, in any conditions. These manipulations will be useful to you at the end of a working day, when you need to cheer up and finish a report, or upon returning home, so as not to feel overwhelmed. You can choose one of each method or use them alternately:
Eat. Between meals, blood glucose levels drop, which is subjectively felt as fatigue. Fruits, especially citrus fruits, and berries, along with a handful of nuts as a snack, have been known to invigorate. For a complete lunch, choose real, nutritious, but low-fat foods: a lean steak, a salad without mayonnaise, and a light side dish. Real spices stimulate digestion, especially hot ones like red pepper, ginger, and curry. Control your portion sizes, otherwise overeating will cause drowsiness.
Drink a glass of water. Water is the body’s supreme solvent and nutrient transporter. When dehydrated, your cells feel hungry, and you feel sluggish. Try to drink at least 2-2. 5 liters of still water every day. To quickly relieve fatigue, drink a glass of cool water with a slice of lemon, or even sparkling water. Sweet drinks and alcoholic beverages relax, but they also quickly trigger the opposite reaction.
Take a shower. Stand in the stream of water to relax. For a more intense effect, make the water cool, or, even better, take a contrast shower. It’s said that water washes away fatigue at an active level, but in reality, it acts as a micro-massage, and the temperature change stimulates the psyche and boosts metabolism.
Get a massage. Take a break from work and try to feel where muscle tension has formed in your body. Relax them with willpower, and then massage your shoulders, neck, arms, and temples. Acupressure can also help relieve fatigue: apply pressure to the root of the little fingernails on both hands for a few minutes, then massage your feet.
Take a walk. Stand up straight and take at least a few steps around the room. Ideally, take a walk outside or through a park. A walk of no more than half an hour forces your lungs to work harder, which provides oxygen to the cells of every organ and keeps you energized. Blood circulation improves, the brain “wakes up” and sheds fatigue.
These quick-fix fatigue remedies are effective, but don’t overdo them. Fatigue is your body’s signal that it’s reaching its limit. Therefore, after the recuperative steps described above, continue working for a short time and then take a full rest.
How can you cure chronic fatigue?
Unfortunately, only a few take the tentative signs of fatigue seriously and postpone rest until such time as simple measures can no longer help relieve the body’s fatigue. Constant fatigue syndrome is a disease, and it must be treated carefully and carefully:
Normalization of lifestyle. In order to free yourself from fatigue, you first need to eliminate the prerequisites for its development. Stick to a daily routine, go to bed no later than 11 p. m., get enough sleep, and eat systematically. Plan your work schedule so that you have real weekends, annual leave, and time for yourself and your favorite activities.
Nutritious diet. Balance your diet, eat real and wholesome foods, avoiding preservatives, dyes, and refined sweets. Replace granulated sugar with honey and dried fruits, pasta with cereals, and baked goods with grain breads. Don’t forget about fresh fruits and vegetables. This type of nutrition strengthens the body and gives energy.
Mobility. Walk instead of using transport when possible. Do dancing, swimming, any type of fitness to your taste 2-3 times weekly. There is no real need to set sports records – a gentle, but constant load strengthens the immune system and makes the body more resilient to stress and fatigue.
Ability to rest. True rest is also an art. It lies in the ability to hear your body and respond to its signals in a timely and adequate manner. Having favorite activities that turn out to be an outlet definitely restores strength and can help you relax. Be in the fresh air, wander for the sake of previously unknown sensations, allow yourself tiny weaknesses (for example, do not hold back yawning, since it also seems to be a defensive reaction of the psyche).
Taking care of your health. Monitor your psychological and physical state, do not cause illnesses, recover completely after sick leave, do not force your body with excessive stress. The last remark concerns not only professional activities, but also sports training.
With a smart approach, this can help restore strength, relieve fatigue in the body, and even cure constant fatigue without medications. If after doing all these things the symptoms of fatigue do not subside, be sure to contact a qualified worker who will order a medical examination and make a decision. In some cases, constant fatigue may be a consequence of deeper physiological problems, which are important to identify in time. Take care of yourself, be strong and have enough rest and with great pleasure!
